Why has no one invented a clear coat that is impervious to bird droppings? Even if carried a rag and detailing spray in the Trac, by the time I come upon them the significant droppings have already eaten into the clearcoat.

Sounds like you have the basic building block to a wealthy lifestyle. Invent it and retire at a young age.

I bought an 03 Trac, brand new. Put Zano on it and have never had any problems with bird droppings. Sometimes the bird dooooooooooooooooo is left on for a week or so before it is washed off and still no problems. The color is white. I also have an 04 Cobra redfire with the same results.

Could it be the Zano? Seriously, I really don't know but it could be.
