blinking O/D light cont....

so i have another question. now my O/D light isnt flashing?? if i take it to the dealer are they gonna be able to find anything wrong with it ( its an $80 if they dont)!?! the trac drives normal. should i wait for the light to come on again or take it in??

Your dealer won't be able to pull the code if the light isn't flashing. I've had the same thing happen to me once before. You should wait for the light to come back. In my case, the O/D light hasn't been back since it went out about 10k miles ago. I still have the tranny flair, but the light hasn't flashed since and I'm hoping it doesn't.

When it comes on and you shut the truck off and re start, IT will reset the light...



You almost have to drive it there when it happens and do not shut it off....

Yeah what the guys said...so when you pull in...do not shut the trac off. Seein os believin as always. I really hope it's nothing too major. Sorry to hear this happened.

thanks! thats what ill do then. the trac still drives good so ill wait till it happens again ( hopefully it wont!).
