Was visiting my girlfriend and spent some pocket change...

2009 and 2010 Sea Doos...

Soooo, I am selling my other Polaris skis. I have them listed in the Swap and Sell section.

These are the ones I got though..

I am sure I will enjoy them.

Paid half in cash, financed the rest, but will have it paid off in less than a year actually. I just did it that way so I still have money in my account.

Wish I would have been able to buy them closer, I was pretty much forced to buy a 1200 hundred dollar trailer just so I could get them home from Michigan (to Ohio).

I took them out yesterday for the first time. Due to being new I will not max the engines out at least until after 10 hours and then fluid changes.

That said,,, WOW do they run.

The super charged one is a monsters. 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds...

I maxed it out at 51 MPH and the other one at 48. They ride great and run great.

My old skis are a dryer ride and have a different feel in how they steer. Just a matter of learning is all...

Gary,,, as I said above,,, you can buy my old ones...

next pair will be yamaha's :supercool:

my 99 gp800 was good for mid 60 mph. it was a great ride.

good luck with your new toys

I looked at the Yamaha's as well.

Went with the Sea Doo's due to the type of fuel injection and,,, they have closed cooling systems. This is nice when it comes to winterizing them as there engine has it own coolant and there is nothing required as far as winterizing them other than blowing air across the heat exchanger just so that it isn't wet and sitting there for the season. Super easy to do as the heat exchanger is literally sitting underneath the ski..

Listed my old ones on eBay.

If any of you are interested or you know someone that is, please forward this link to them.

Thanks much...

coastie,

closed cooling. nice feature.

i assume you don't have to worry if crap/seaweed gets caught in the intake and limit water cooling. i like that.

the technology now is much better.

i am drooooling for a new pair. when i make the perm move to fla i will get some. it sux here on the island as you only have may thru oct. i have riding for 19 years and love it.

are yours going in fresh or salt water?

Live within minutes of Lake Erie. I do not plan on hitting salt water but I would never say never....

And yes, your original is a classic, but with them, where would we be today????

nice ride w/fresh water and a lake.

never had the experience as my riding is in the bay & ocean.

ocean and moriches inlet are very interesting ride. FUN

well you have two nice rides...... enjoy

I am sure I will enjoy them.

Modified my trailer today, shortened the tongue, added heavy duty stainless cables for the safety chains, put on the storage box, moved the winch mounts forward to increase tongue weight....

Will be on the lake tomorrow...
