Noticed a little groan coming from out back. Figured I'd take it to the dealer this morning and see if that fancy extended warranty would work. Luckily it did. $50 deductable and I'll have plain old boring calipers in the back. Asked for the old cores back, not sure if they can. Will have to contact NuGeon/NHT for a fresh set of red ones. Oh well, Bob

That sucks man, Goes to show you it can happen to any manufacturer...

Surprised that they would replace a part that you had already replaced once. I would think if the caliper you bought and replaced seized up, you would have to go to them to get it replaced. Would be like buying an AutoZone Battery, and when it died taking it to Ford to get them to replace it.

The calipers were a stock Ford item. I bought a set, sent 'em to NuGeon and had them coated. Maybe I'm trying to beat the system, but botttom line is they are still a Ford item. Should find out in a couple more hours whats up. Bob
