Brake Controller

I recently purchased a brake controller and wiring harness for my 2007 Sport Trac. I have the factory towing package. After several hours of searching I still can't find the plug for the harness. The directions say in Explorers it's located behind the glove box. I still can't find an open plug. Any suggestions?

In my 2010 Adrenalin it is up under the dash on the very left side. Hope this helps.

It's definitely on the left side under the dash....to be more specific, it's to the left of the steering wheel shaft.

I have an 2007, 4.6 L with the standard 4 wire flat connector at the hitch receiver. Would I have a harness to connect to under the driver's side dashboard? Thank you for the input
