Where does everyone get their brake rotors and pads from?? Car parts stores and web sites. I am in need and want decent ones, but also looking for the best price.

Thanks!

I got my last set of rotors from NAPA. They were made in Canada and a very high quality product. Corporate greed took over and they are now made in China. They warp easy and are made of garbage meterial. The best part is that they sall them for the same price as the ones made in Canada cost.

Those are the last set of rotors I will ever purchase from NAPA.

Brake Overstock on eBay is where I got my rotors and ceramic pads six months ago. No warping. No dust.

Advanced auto parts... Online or store...

Rotors and Wagner Thermo quiet or SUV pads...

CaptKirk, from what I heard. Heavy towing, especialy in hill country, they can hold too much and fade.

brakeperformance.com is where I got my rotors. Have to agree on the Wagner ThermoQuiet pads from Advanced Auto. Ya know, plain old regular stock rotors work just fine too! BC

EBC Brakes all the way. They also make rotors.

If I'm doing a full brake upgrade (rotors, calipers, lines, fluid etc.) I'll stick with the brand of rotors in the kit. But if my stock rotors need replacement, I order a pair of EBC rotors along with the EBC pads.

Mustang Guy: EBC Brakes all the way.

I've heard and read that they are great but man, they can be expensive.

Which ones do you use, Mustang and in your opinion what makes them worth the extra money?

I guess on a sports car or a Heavy Duty truck I would understand the desire to greatly upgrade the brakes. However, with the ST I'm not sure how necessary it is to invest in brakes designed for a level of performance far greater than most Sport Trac's will ever experience. I may be completely off base here but to me it's like putting Z rated tires on a Sport Trac.

So far I'm really happy with NAPA's Ultra Premium Rotors and Safety Stop Ceramic Pads, but admittedly they only have a few hundred miles on 'em so I'll be interested to see how well they wear and their longevity.
