Brakes

Pulsating brakes=warped rotors. Has anyone had to have their brake rotors machined because of this problem. Mine needs to be done, ST is still under original 3 year warranty, but dealer says I have to pay $200.00. Is this right or should I complain? :huh:

mine started doing that at 18K. I took it to the dealer and they turned the rotors for free.

This will vary by dealer but is a known issue and many have had it covered under warranty. Brakes however are a wear and tear part hence the dealer not wanting to cover. You may want to call ford customer care and see if you have a leg to stand on.

Brakes are only covered for the first 12 monts/12k miles by Ford. Afterwards it's up to the dealer if they feel it's it should be repaired as a courtesy to the customer.
