V for Very Impressive.

And to think they did all of that with automatic transmissions and foot pedal e-brakes...

Nice to see my tax dollars @ work

(Though why "V", and who will Cadillac "vanquish" ??)

The CTS-V can be had with an automatic (with paddle shifters) or 6 speed manual. Also, there is no foot e-brake on the new model, it has an electronic e-brake activated by a lever on the center console.

Pretty awesome show they put on, I'd like to see it unedited just to see how much time they used to set up before each stunt.

GASP--a GM car offering manual versions in America?? Are you sure those aren't for China only?

A lever operated e-brake? Come now good sir, this is a GM vehicle, and surely they can't abandon the asinine e-brake pedal fad that they started.

Very impressive. Why don't we get promos like that? I remember a BMW commercial where the car drives through the window of a gallery of other BMWs, and the screen says "images simulated".

The closest thing to this that I recall is the Mercury Milan commercial where it slides into the frame, with no tire smoke...aesthetics over physics?

So we get CG and a 2-second glimpse of driving, and the Chinese get cars doing slalom skiing around people!

My taxes funded this, I demand that we get it....then again, I'm sure the American commercial will only feature Escalades and have 26" rims and show driving from club to club, while Dennis Haysbert does a voice-over...
