Did a quick basic report on Yahoo and found 9 reports for the VIN. 2000 Chevy 1500 silverado extended cab. 5.3L V8.

If you are hoping for "in-depth" stuff such as accident history then Carfax is a waste of time and money.



Carfax will NOT tell you if a vehicle has been in an accident. It will only tell you if the vehicle has ever been declared a total loss by an insurance company.



If you are womdering if the vehicle has been in an accident the best thing you can do is stop by a good local collision facilty and ask them to inspect the vehicle for you. They shouldn't charge you anything for doing this. I inspect vehicles all the time and the only thing I "charge" customers is that they promise to bring it to me if they ever get into an accident.

ST'erriffic thanks for the info, I will probably take it to a shop if I even buy it, then only problem with that is the vehicle is 80+ miles from me. I'd hate to lie to a shop for checking it out for free. But I'm gonna keep looking into it. Thanks.
