I ordered two #1L5Z-99286B23-BA (SUPT CORN TUB)? That is what is on my receipt. They are the two plastic pieces on the cage, about in the middle, that bolt on and have the rubber bumpers to rest on the tail-gate when open.
The new ones come without the rubber bumpers, which is fine, cause you don't need 'em anyway!
These pieces do have two plastic projections on each one, inside, that are supossed to go into holes in the cage. But where you are going to mount these new ones, there are no holes, so just cut them off with a utility knife.
Mount the new ones, upside down, and position them so the screw-heads are towards the side of the bed (extra security) about an inch & a quarter from the end ones.
Since they are upside down, when the cage is rotated in to the bed the part that is now almost on the bed prevents the cage from moving downward and releasing! So, IF you remember to lock the tailgate, your cage is now pretty safe. (Without the Tonneau cover)
You can release the cage by unlocking the tailgate, opening it, rotating the cage open and release it and lift up.
The pieces were $14.70 ea. and they come with the hardware needed to secure them together. They look like they came from the factory that way. Pretty cool.
