Catalytic converter or resonator?

On my '08 V8, welded to and right in front of the muffler is a big rectangular can.

Is it the cat? I can't get far enough under the truck to see clearly if any lines or wires are attached. Please help before I follow Magnaflows directions to remove everything!!!:blink:
