CEL

I did the IAC, and TB cleaning this weekend. The Trac's running great, then throws a CEL about 10 minutes ago. It's still running good. Plugs and wires were changed about 5k ago, cracked elbow was changed about 10k ago and looks fine. Any suggestions? I'm going to go by an Advance as soon as I can to get the codes but I can't think of anything besides the cleaning that would cause this. I've done this cleaning process twice before, no issues. Any thoughts? :wacko:

Maybe loosened something or left a vacuum line off...

That's what I'm hoping, but a visual inspection at lunch didn't bring anything up.

sounds like the 02 sensor got some stuff on it or sensed something related to the cleaning..



I would disconnect the battery for a little bit and reset it..

Pull the bulb or disconnect the CEL plug. Friggin things!!!!

You'll know when you have a problem by the way your particular ST runs!!! The CEL is nothing but a $ maker for the stealerships!!!

It's odd. I disconnected the battery and reset it. It ran great all day yesterday. Then the CEL comes back on this morning. The Trac's still running fine. I'll get the codes, and I'll be back....
