Changing Instrument Gauge Bulb

Nevermind... I wasn't turning it hard enough - used some pliers and she came out..

JE, that's what I had to do to a few of them.

Was this hard to do?? My fuel gauge bulb is out.. I've been to scared to do anything about it.

I just changed the same bulb Derek. Not hard to do, just remember to not pull the cluster too far out. I did on my wife's Trac and now the shift indicator sticks going towards low gear. I must have gotten the little wire that pulls on it jammed. Of course I replaced the bulb at night with a flashlight. Some weekend I'll get in there and reposition it for smooth movement.

What peices of the dash have to come out to do this? Do you have an pictures that show what to take out? I've never removed the instrument panel on a vehicle before. I have the software CD but to be honest its pretty confusing to figure out for some reason..
