For the past three night I've been grinding sanding and painting the old Grey OEM bars.. The looked awful paint chipping and some wear and tear! So I decided to re-work them and paint them a semi-gloss black with a clear coat finish! I would've written a project on this cause it was easy but someone already has done one similar... What do you guys think? Be easy on me!:cool:

They look awesome. Now I want to do this to my rear bumper, sides, and front but I have no experience at all with painting, sanding, etc. Was this your first time as well? Any suggestions for me or do you think I could handle it?

Im with Sintec, mine are not looking too good and I would like to do all the other stuff as well, but haven't done any painting before. Seeing yours has inspired me. They look great.

It was real easy...there is a project on how to remove the step bars and pads. I just followed that and with an angle grinder, sandpaper, primer, paint and some clear coat it was real easy. This was my first time doing something like this to my ST. Thanks for the comments:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
