I think there is something wrong with my chip....I have a diablo sport. The first thing is the connecter on the chip didnt fit that tight on my computer. So I thought it might have moved or something but i guess not. I hope nothing got messed up because now the chip off and my truck still shutterd today...First time it did that with the chip off. Guess I should have left it alone. I hope I wont have to but a new computer for it.

is the switch off or you removed the chip completely??

if the chip is still installed, remove the chip.

You also may have something wrong with the truck.

Tight or not, the chip just needs decent contact with the pcm. Doesn't have to be tight just not loose. What type of tape did you use. Duct tape is what was recommended by apten and if you used something else, say electrical tape, the glue will loosen and the chip can back out of the pcm.

A bit more clarification on your post would be helpful.
