Clay Bar

I have some paint overspray on my ST. I bought Mother's clay bar. I have used it and still feel some paint spray spots.



When I used it, I applied soft to medium pressure. Is this enough or should I put more pressure while using the bar ???

i havent tried mothers as i always use maguiers brand

but i would definitely try a little more pressure on the bar

just keep it lubed up with the quick detailer.

Sorry -- it is Meguiers. I did not want to over exert and hurt the clear coat. I did keep it well lubed.

dont forget to rewax where you clayed

I would re-clay a second time. Maybe also try some ScratchX too. Also, like GM mentioned, I'd rewax after the clay and ScratchX.

or go to your local auto detail shop and get a clay bar from them it is a big difference
