Anyone out there with info about removing white wax residue from the black plastic cladding. I try to be careful but still get little white residue spots in some areas. Since it's not a limited, I have all kinds of black plastic cladding & trim and many cances to make these ugly smudges. I've seen this addressed before but can't seem to locate the previous postings. The only thing I remember is that someone said to use peanut butter but I'd like to find a better solution than that.

Also, my windshield on my '07 fogs up real easy. I don't have the defogging electric windshield so I was wondering what anyone has used to make it less irritating. Any products that have worked for you?

Any info appreciated!

Thanks, Gary

On Axel's, I just rubbed Turtle Wax Ice over his wax spots. All better. It's great for making the cladding shine like a greased tire, too. If you don't want shiny, try any harsh dish detergent like Dawn or Palmolive with a toothbrush. They strip wax. Worst case, they actually make wax remover.

Shouldn't wax or need to wax your new paint so soon. A good quality car wash and good drying should be all you need for that new paint. If you must shine it....Meguiars quick detail is ok to use. And yes a cheap peanut butter works great and they do make a bug, tar and wax remover, you can find that at your local auto parts store.

Try the RainX no-fog wipes, I use them on the bathroom mirror to keep it from fogging up from hot showers and they work great.
