I was planing to by a used Volvo S80 for my wife because she is handy-caped and needs comfortable seats. Today President Trump said to buy American. Do you folks know if Ford offers good seats in some cars?

Ford is known for offering the best seats in the industry. They test them more vigorously that other manufacturers. My 2001 Sport Trac seats are still very comfortable.

I am happy that you feel that way. The seats in my 2002 although comfortable, are not like the 2003 Volvo S40 or my 1998 Buick Le Sabre. Other folks please share. I have seen plush seats in one Explorer.

I don't like plush seats. A car seat isn't supposed to be like a BarcaLounger. I had to ride in a friend's new 1984 Oldsmobile across the state once and all I could think of how easy they would be to total out with a Taco Bell taco dripping sauce and grease. Two years year, those seats were dirty, flattened, and the velour was covered in taco sauce and tartar sauce stains that wouldn't wash out. The worst part is that the lower cushion foam was shot and you could feel the floorpan on your butt when it drove over potholes.
