compass and temp in over head councel

I was wondering what the region code for the temp and compass is for minnesota, it says you can program them to work for different regions This might solve my problem..... it says it somewhere in the ford book but i only have the chiltons and it doesn't say..

I am also in MN, I have mine set to 7, per the manual.

Funny, but my Ford manual says one setting for my area, but my wife's Subaru manual shows a different setting.



Anyone know if this is a "Universal" deal, or it if is manufacturer-specific?
