Congrats on the IIHF World Jr. Championship USA

I don't even know if it was broadcast down in the States, but your boys won the title against Canada after an incredible, back and forth game.

I have to hand it to the Americans, I think they wanted it just a little bit more than the Canadians, but it was a great match-up with some THRILLING moments.

Anybody watch it? How about that last minute goal by Eberle (again)?

Unfortunatly, Seattle, being so close to Canada, doesn't show hockey near as much as you would think! They love their Thunderbirds (WHL Junior Team), and they are fun to watch. And twice we have had NHL Exhibition games - Kings V Pens (when Pens were 'good' - not that they ever were!), and most recently my Yotes v Lightning. Both those were in small venues that didn't sell out.

So unfortunatly, I didn't get to see it, but it is good to see our boys winning the gold! Just saw the interview with a few 'Miracle' players (Eruzioni, Craig) back on the winter classic, still brings chills to me, and I bet watching those boys win the gold would have done the same!

when Pens were 'good' - not that they ever were!

lol @ Jerry...cause Malkin, Fleury, Staal and Sid the kid make for a terrible team

Anyways, yes the families of these kids are an incredible support for them and should certainly receive some recognition for the sacrifices they've made for these boys to get where they are.

I watched it on the NHL Network. I was hoping we wouldn't blow a third period 2 goal lead like the other night. That was GREAT hockey to watch, what a bunch of young talent.

Shaun, I am not saying their 'bad', after all, they do have a few more names on the cup than my yotes! And I do like Sid and Malkin, great kids. But ever since the jomir logger and stupermario age, didn't like thier cockyness, arrogance, and sometimes dirty play when they didn't win.

And my guys do have a point more so far! I don't get much chance to brag or boast, so I am doing it while I can!
