Do the Audiophile or the Pioneer radios have any sort of aux input that could be used to connect my iPod into it? I know that it will be on the back, if it exists, but I can deal with that. We are looking at the 05 ST and local dealers are practically on their knees to get us to buy one. If we find one with the basic 1 CD system we will just pull it out and get a Sony or JVC with the front input but if we get one with the nicer system I would rather keep it and find a way to connect the iPod into the existing radio.

search crutchfield for "ford aux adapter" and see if one of those adapters will work. It hooks up into the connection for a cd changer, and makes it possible to hook up whatever you want via rca cables... you could mount it in your glove box for convenience.

hope this helps.

04's and 05's with the 6CD DO NOT have a CD changer port. You'll need this:

In addition, to be safe, check the rear of your radio and ensure that this is the setup of your cables. No manufacturer has released an iPod control unit that uses these ports, however. But, AUX is better than nothing.
