I would use the matching color from ford... The universal stuff is a good idea, But not in my book..

Also simply draining ( by opening the drain on the bottom of the radiator and removing the cap) and re filling Only will change about 1/2 the fluid... The best way is to use a radiator machine. This will flush and sediment out and replace 100% of the fluid...

but if i don't have a radiator machine, I can just run water through the radiator with the truck running right? then i was told to get some prestone sediment stuff from auto zone and that will get rid of all the sediments. Is this the right way?

Those cleaners do more harm than good...

Running water is ok, but does take a lot of time...

The flush kits that you cut the hoses are really only good on older cars...

If you don't have access to a flush machine and don't mind spending the extra couple of bucks, You can drain and re fill, Waite a couple of months and drain and re fill again..
