So after months of finding oil in my radiator and no water in my oil, I swaped out my radiator and PRESTO!!! problem solved. It was my transmission cooler that had cracked. Funny thing is how red transmission fluid turns milky brown in your radiator. Now the stupid truck is disappearing water out of the radiator and no signs of were its going. No puddles under the truck, I have gone over the engine compartment both hot and cold and I don't see a leak. The radiator does require about 2 cups of water after about 20 miles of driving. Still no water in the motor oil and the truck has lost no power. Any suggestions???

CHECK the tranny fluid level and look around the th thermostat housing !!!

That was a common problem with the Ford Taurus' and Mercury Sables, My wife had a Sable with the same problem. It kept blocking up the heater core so I'd have to flush the system every couple months.
