Hey guys I have been noticing dried antifreeze on the right side of the engine and the firewall on my Trac and I have had low coolant for awhile so I added fluid and having be checking it while today as I was going to pick up my sister in law, I saw my temp gauge go almost up to the overheat mark than back down to the normal operating temp so I stopped at her house and looked under the hood and saw fresh coolant where I noticed the dried so after I get home a checked all over the front of the engine and saw most of the has near or at the thermostat hosing but I can't pin point where it really come from. Please help

Lower T-stat housing leaking. Common issue. Below is where to get a metal one and the project.

Eddie nailed it. Almost an expected repair at least once in a 4.0L SOHC's lifetime.

While I have an up date on the leak it wasn't the housing it was the o rings on the sensors the way I find this out was I didn't replace the o rings on the sensors and while I find the source of the leak lol:banghead:
