Cowl

I've searched STWS, site sponser (catalog), Google, etc. and can't find

how to remove wiper cowl on my '03 ST.

Anyone know the procedure for removing the cowl? I want to paint it semi-black

to match my trim. Tks:driving:

One Philips screw in the center. Be very careful prying cowls up and out. Clips are sharp and washer hoses have very little slack. Very easy to break plastic nozzle fittings.

1. Disconnect the drivers side windshield washer hose from inside the engine compartment.

This should be the very FIRST step. Not mentioned in the Ford Workshop Manual PDF.

Also drill the 1/8" hole in the passenger cowl. (Stain seen above)

Here is the final product. Looks almost new. Painted with Krylon

Bar-b-que/stove paint. Forget to take before pics...it was quite faded.
