This may seem like a dumb question, but I haven't been able to tell from the pics; does the fuel door unlock from inside the vehicle, or have a lock on the gas cap? I would think with gas prices the way they are, it would be a no-brainer addition.

Jeff, don't know if you noticed but on the site you can actually enlarge the pics on the fly, which would allow you to see what your looking for on another pic. Anyhow, no. No locking gas cap.

Thanks Anne. I'm glad you guys came out. It was good to see you again.

Again, Hope everyone enjoys, these, as well as everyone elses.

Yeah, I zoomed in, and couldn't tell if there was any kind of locking or pop-open mechanism, so I was just wondering.

TomT, <a href="http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/default.aspx?carID=399&l=F&optionID=2"target=top>here's a linkey</a> to some more details about the equator. Incredibly enough, I didn't manage to take a shot of the whole thing. On a side note, ford is auctioning it off to help out with hurricane relief.

This may have been talked about...why is the gas filler on the passenger side???? Jeeze! That irks the hell out of me...and it is not ergonomically designed. Gas door should be on the same side as the driver's door.

Dive Trac, That's the new design for the trac or the former design for the Explorer. The exhaust also exits on the driver side now. This is probably a result of the IRS (main reason) and other factors which I have absolutely no clue about. Just seems to be the result of the new(old x) platform.
