Dash lights out when a trailer is hooked up.

Hi,

I've never had this type of problem before. I picked up a new trailer today, and plugged the trailer lights into the Trac. When I turn my headlight switch on, the radio and odometer lights go out. Has anyone seen this before?

I take it, you rotated the illumination dial up and down just to make sure they weren't dimmed? There's a spot on mine where if they're bumped, all the gauges go out, but the dial looks like it's set to full illumination.



It sounds as though you have a short somewhere. Did they come back once you dumped the trailer?
