Dealer Comes Thru

The CD player in my '04 died the other day. Radio was fine but nothing from the six disc changer. Took it to my dealer (Wade Ford in Smyrna, GA) this morning. They took care of it without a question. Pulled the old unit while I waited and put in an order for a new one. It arrives Tuesday and will be installed at my leisure. That's the way to treat a customer.

I dont think dealers have radios in stock.......

I had a similar issue. The dealer took one out of a Trac on the lot and sent me on my way....

Yep no radio until the new one comes in. But that's OK, I'm going out of town for training for my new job. I'll all about the cabs until I get home.

huh, that's weird that they took it. I had mine replaced the other day becuase the cd woudn't eject, but last week when I took it in they (not wade ford) pulled it out to get the number off the back so they could order the new one, but slipped it back in so I could have some tunes til the new one came in. (Also go a new radio bezel cuz of the peeling issue).
