Pretty good Idea. The old timers around here used to get small dents out by parking in the sun and then putting dry ice on the dent. Tis is one that I will have to try sometime. Hopefully not soon. Good find LaRue._Ron

I had a dent removed from my '07 ST just this week. I had "customized" my tailgate by setting a trailer coupler lock on the bumper and lowering the tailgate on it. %&##"*^# Someone at work had a local shop remove some dents with the paintless method and was pleased. So I figured I would give it a try on the golf ball sized dent. I was amazed at the results. It looks like new! It was not cheap, cost $150. But I no longer look at the tailgate every time I walk behind the truck and remind myself of my ignorant move.

This technique will work for wide shallow dents only. When it works, its amazing, however it will not always work on all dents, especially if the edges of the dent have a crease. That will lock the dent and will require more severe measures to remove it.
