I cleaned to throttle body & IAC motor this afternoon. I get a Check Engine light, so I check the code which turns out to be P0122. I looked it up in the FAQ's and the answer just doesn't seem to make sense for what I did. I did clear the code, and will drive it tomorrow and watch to see if I get the Check Engine light again. Any thoughts on this issue? Thanks

Rodger- A TPS code as I recall. Did you remove the sensor?

Thought only I could misalign it and break the spring. Hope it's OK.

I did the same things to my ST a couple of weeks back, and also replaced the PCV. The old PCV still rattled when I shook it but I could tell it was getting plugged. That was a pain to get to, I scratched my hands up just moving some of the stuff outta the way so I could get to it. I removed the TPS and when I put it back on something just didn't seem right but it's running fine and no thrown codes so it must've been ok.

I hope 105,000 miles isn't borrowed time for the IAC, considering that I'm at 123,000 miles and haven't touched mine either.
