did some work on my sporttrac. march had ST regular service and then had the transmission 30,000 miles service done. then may 13th had all four brakes done got a really good price too. had all four brakes done for 363.10 that includes new pads and machined all four rotors and changed out the old brake fluid and flushed the system and then on mothers day hubby bought me four new tires for the ole Sporttrac. now she's all taken care of and now just waiting to go on a road trip up north. san francisco, montrey calif, and morro bay calif. cant wait...:haveabeer:

Sounds like your are ready for that road trip. I go up that way frequently myself as well. I live in SoCal and have a vacation place up in Del Monte Forest by Monterey.

Since you mentioned both Monterey and Morro Bay, I guess you will be taking 101. Will you also be taking SR-1 between Morro and Monterey? That sure is a beautiful stretch of highway even if it is a bit winding. I don't take that stretch too often as it adds more than an hour to the trip.

Enjoy the trip.

My brakes are still good after 50000 miles, but I did have to have parking brakes disassempled, cleaned, lumbed, and reassembled because they were frozen.:soap:

To uncle-bob

Yes we go up to Morro bay a lot really nice place to stay. And yes we did take the highway 1 between Morro bay and Monterey and it is kinda winding road but it is a nice stretch of hwy. my 05 st was awesome doing that drive. I love going up north. When we go I do all the driving my hubby just enjoys the ride. I'm hoping we get a chance to go this year before school starts in the fall.
