in th 07:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN (or ON) position. (DO NOT

START THE ENGINE)

2. Wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (Approximately 1

minute)

• Step 3 must be completed within 50 seconds after the safety belt

warning light turns off.

3. For the seating position being disabled, at a moderate speed, buckle

then unbuckle the safety belt 9 times, ending in the unbuckled state.

(Step 3 must be completed within 50 seconds after the safety belt

warning light turns off.)

• After Step 3, the safety belt warning light will be turned on for three

seconds.

4. Within 10 seconds of the light turning on, at a moderate speed, buckle

then unbuckle the safety belt.

• This will disable the BeltMinder feature for that seating position if it

is currently enabled. As confirmation, the safety belt warning light will

flash 4 times per second for 3 seconds.

• This will enable the BeltMinder feature for that seating position if it

is currently disabled. As confirmation, the safety belt warning light will

flash 4 times per second for 3 seconds, followed by 3 seconds with the

light off, then followed by the safety belt warning light flashing 4 times

per second for 3 seconds again.

Un doing the clip will cause your airbags not to work properly..

IF you read the owners manual it says you must do it perfectly and with in a certain amount of time....

Simply put, You did it wrong.....

It took me 3 trys to get mine right and I have done 3 others since then...

I just did it a couple days ago with my 2004 it took two tries to make it work. Follow the steps exactly and pay attention to the lights on the dash. You have to do each step within the set time limit or it does not work. It didn't work the first time for me although I thought I did it right. I tried it a second time saw the restraint light flash to indicate that it worked and then I took a quick drive and woohoo it worked.

i disabeled my passanger side SB warning and it worked like a champ. and you all are right timing must be 100% correct or it will not work.

Boy, if I didn't know better I would say those instructions for the '07 are akin to instructing someone at Scout camp to go find a "left handed smoke-shifter"...but, they seem to be for real...right????

Yeah, follow the instructions in the book and it will work. I just did this on my '05 and it worked. I wear my seat belt while driving but there are those times when I am driving across parking lots, etc. and the warning was annoying. I am smart enough to know if my seat belt is own.
