I wouldn't mind putting some black Ford Lightning OEM wheels on my STA. They are 20X9 and have a +8.4 offset. Anybody know?

What is the offset and width of the Gen2 STA wheels? If there is enough difference. Might be able to use wheel spacers, that also change the bolt pattern.

The member I bought my 18" wheels from, for my '04. He did this for his gen1. Patern changing spacers allowed him to use F-150 wheels. Same pattern as the Lightning.

I actually still have that set of spacers and am not using them anymore. They'll adapt the 5x135 bolt pattern of the F150 to the 5x114.3 pattern of your truck. The front two spacers are 1.25" thick and the rears are 2" thick. They have the upgraded 14mm studs, include chrome lugs, and are hub-centric to the Sport Trac, but not the wheel. I'd take $90 shipped for them if you're interested, they cost me over $300 to have made.

Hi Dan,

I still have the wheels. 2 of them had to be refurbished. From the side swipe a woman did to me. They came out like new. I wish I had paid the shop to do the other 2.

Hey Eddie, I saw that post about your accident and that you had 2 of the wheels refinished, glad it all worked out. I definitely still love those RT6 wheels, and I almost just bought a set of them for my 2000 Explorer that I'm driving now but I came across a good deal on a set of 18" Acura MDX wheels that work with another set of adapters that I had, so I picked up those along with some Falken 265/60-18 tires for them. Here's a quick pic, and I think they turned out pretty well, but I still occasionally regret not spending the extra $250 it would've cost me for the Enkei wheels...

Dan,

I know what you mean about the RT-6 wheel.

Not too many wheels, nowdays. That have that negative offset or deep dish look.
