Does my front end look low enough? (Part 2, hopefully BS free)

Continuing on with my original question, before Q spiraled it into utter nonsense, I posted a side picture but I had sandbags and things in the bed for the upcoming snow. Now, since Kansas can't figure out what season it is, I thought I would take advantage of the beutiful 55 degree sunny day and unload the extra weight and take a picture.

I think the ST looks pretty level, but with the top of the bed sloping downward looks a little odd. So, should I take the torsion bolts out? Or leave it as is?

It may be just the picture, but I feel that the front is up higher than the rear. I suggest take a tape measure and measure the front and back , at the hinge side of the front door and the opening side of the rear. IMHO

Yep the bed is sloping downward some. Can you lower the front about 3/4 inch if not a full inch?

I agree with Mike C but, take a tape measure from the the edge of the fender to the top tire on each end. Should be able to get a pretty good idea that way as well. jmop :)

I think the front could come down a little lower. Personally, I like the "stance" of the stock ST, but lowered a couple of inches all the way around, rather than leveling it out.

I thought the message was loud and clear. The front end is too high or the rear end is too low.

Personally, for a truck, I think the rear end looks way too low. I would raise it at least 2 inches.

I think what others have said about the shadow is right. It is messing with you when you look at the picture. But from looking at that picture it does look a little higher in the front.

:)Like you really need me to tell you the rear appears lower (...it does).

Lower it.

Lower it!

LOWER IT.

LOWER IT!!!!!!!:D

i've heard when you have alot of weight in the bed of a truck for extended periods of time, it makes it sag down...dunno if thats true though..

The fact that the claddings are gone and you can see the frame probably doesn't help either.

I think I'll pull the bolts. Thanks for the replies guys!

-Also, I realized why I lowered her today, drifts and powerslides around corners on dirt roads are fun (nothing TOO extreme). :D That's one thing I'm going to miss about Wichita. I'll have to explore Illinois for some fun places to drive.

Of course, without the rocker panels on, it's hard to get an idea of the true level of the vehicle compared to the ground.

I'd leave it as is, but thats cause I'm lazy

The front is a wee bit higher and I'd raise the back up a bit. I'm pretty sure if you lowered the front the tires would rub the fenderwells like crazy... Do your tires rub now?
