I notice that when it gets to about 10* or colder, when I enter the driver door & close it , the drivers door ajar lamp on the dash is lit even when the door is fully closed. The indicator lamp does go out after the cab warms up in about 5-10 minutes. Not a big deal. Just wonder if any one else has this issue. Its a 2007 ST V8 4WD. I looked to see if I could find a switch on the door that may get stuck in the cold, but was unable to find it.

The switch is in the door internal latching assy. Either frozen sticking from moisture or needs lube. Try spraying some deice with lube into the latch from all directions possible.

I had a Ranger in '98 and it was doing the same thing, took it too the dealer and they had to replace the door latch. There was moisture in it and it was freezing up...pretty easy fix for them, cost me about $80 though.
