Door Mirror

Has anybody replaced the passenger door mirror on an 07 or later? My garage reached out and grabbed it. I have probed some but can't see how to remove the upholstery panel.

I've never worked on a Gen 2 so this is all the help I can be.........

1 226A38 Front door handle bezel screw cover

2 22670 Front door assist handle screw cover

3 78226A56 Front door handle bezel screw (2 required)

4 78226A56 Front door assist handle screw (2 required)

5 Front door assist handle (part of 23942)

6 N800481 Front door trim panel lower screw (2 required)

7 Front door handle (part of 23942)

8 23942 Front door trim panel

9 56907 Front door handle bezel rear screw (11 required)



Remove the front door trim panel assist handle cover.

Remove the front door trim panel assist handle screws.

Remove the front door trim panel handle bezel cover.

Remove the front door trim panel handle bezel screws.

Remove the front door trim panel lower screws.

CAUTION: To avoid damaging the front door trim panel, do not pull the bottom of the panel outward.



Remove the front door trim panel by lifting upward on the armrest to disengage the panel clips.

Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Disconnect the lock rod cable from the front door trim panel.

Disconnect the door handle conduit and cable from the front door trim panel.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
