draining the radiator

i know draining the coolant through the radiator drain plug will not drain everything but i just want to drain and refil... how much coolant will this take approximately? i will be buying the coolant and would want to know how may liters would i need...

If you buy the premixed stuff, at least 2 gallons of it. You may want to buy a 3rd to *top* it off.

P.S. If you drain the radiator, you may want to buy an thermostat, sometimes they teld to collapse when the radiator is drained.
