I just got my transmission swapped out, at my local Ford Dealership (I supplied the tranny}. While they put everything back together, and I'm driving it now, the center support bearing is pretty much toast. Ford, in their infinite wisdom, made the driveshaft a two-piece, non-rebuildable part. AND, I have been unable to find one anywhere !! My dealer says that the part should be back in stock around 8/31/2023 !! Can find 4X4 shafts all day. Driveshaft rebuilder here, said that he thinks this particular shaft was made for Ford, in Germany. ANY IDEAS ?? Thanks....Rip P.S. The Part# is 7A2Z-4R602-P. Ford dealers SAY they have one, but I have already had three cancellations/refunds.
