Recently bought a 2003 ST with just 85K miles. I LOVE THIS VEHICLE. (dont' tell my explorer) One problem: the previous owner wore the stuffing outta the seat under my left butt cheek so my back is twisted when driving. Since I already have lower back issues, this needs to be resolved. Would like to take a trip from Ma. to NC but I don't dare attemt it until this issue is fixed. Suggestions?

eBay sells the lower seat padding and most upholstery shops can install it or rebuild the lower cushion

Get the cushion from a passenger side seat and swap it in place of your worn driver's side cushion. All you need is the cushion. You'll have to separate the seat bottom from the back, and remove the upholstery. The cushions are the same side to side, but the passenger side sees less use and usually are in good condition. I've done this swap several times.
