My drivers windows no longer works. What is did is I went to use the auto feature and a buzz happened underneath the dash but the window went down half way then stopped, went down some more, then stopped. I could not prevent stop the window from going down. I located the buzz underneath the dash. Tried switching fuses around, no luck. I'm in the middle of no where and its 10 degrees out side. Any ideas to get the window up?

I have to apologize, I confused our ST panel with the regular explorer panel. I have an electronic copy of the owners manual if you would like me to email it to you.

Fuse 27 is the windows,

In the engine bay, 47A is the window circuit breaker, 48 is the window safety relay.

I checked all the fuses and all were ok. I'm guessing the motor is shot. Sounds like window is getting power but the motor isn't driving the window. I tried pulling the window up with no luck.

Al, It might be as simple as broken rivets holding the motor in place. I think we have had members with that problem.
