Driverside window

Suddenly the driverside window only goes down about 2 inched in the auto down mode. Press the button again, and it generally will go all the way down. Moves really slow compared to passenger window. Goes up without a problem at normal speed.



Ideas?

Try spraying the track with silicone....

mine was doing the same thing. when i took the door panel off i noticed the regulator was twisting and rubbing on itself. it is a scissor type regulator and one arm was cutting into the other causing very slow movement. i was able to bend it back so the window works but now the window is slightly out of alignment in the tracks. it really needs a new regulator.
