my brother has a 2007 Kia Sportage. The other night, we had to push his Kia out of a snowbank in front of my house. Had to rock back and forth, push from the back, for several minutes. Now, when he gets to 55+ it shakes, no noise, just shakes back and forth. What could it be? Transmission fluid (will check that in a few minutes, wanted some ideas first)? Any other ideas? thanks

Ice/snow in the rims, or ice/snow buildup on a driveshaft. I suspect it is in his rims though. Been there, done that.

It probably isn't even close to the same thing but I have a really vibration in the wheels at 50+ so I took it into the shop and they found that I had a wheel out of ballance because a chunk of ice ripped the wheel weights off of the inside of the rim and then I had a radial belt snap to make it worse.
