I went to 2 games this season. The first was one of the first few home games this season. The last one was the final game of the playoff series with the Minnesota Wild. Hoping to score some tickets for game 5 (assuming they don't sweep the cup series). I doubt that it will be a sweep. The Senators are too good and too proud to let that happen.

Its not that I hate the ducks.... ok well sort of. Im an Oiler fan through and through so I can not cheer for any team that has Chris pronger on it from now on. I could make the argument that Im cheering for a Canadian team, but the Ducks have the most Canadian starting players (19) then any other NHL team. I think from a patriotic standpoint, I would just like to see the cup come back north of the 49th parallel for the first time in 14 years (soooo close the last 2 stanley cups).... GO SENS GO!

Big D, your rooting fo the Sens for the same reasons I am. I dont care for Pronger. He has great ability, but is extremely dirty and has no loyalty. Temmu is the only thing i care for on the Ducks, but Perry and Getzlaf are winning my respect with their play.

I hadn't realized the Cup hadn't been won by a Canadian team for that long. That is amazing. Of course that really speaks volumes about the power of the team markets and their ability to pay the big salaries. Of course personally I hope the cup stays south of the parallel at least one more year LOL.



I have only recently gotten back into watching the NHL. For so many years all you ever saw on the sports news about the NHL was the fights of the game. I wanted to see hockey, not fighting. Let see some playing ability, not just the 'enforcers'.

I was a Kings fan for the longest time , don't really know why. Maybe it was the Gretzky, Kurri (sp), McSorley trade bandwagon that I hopped on :lol:. When I moved from SoCal I kind of lost interest but have been watching the playoffs this year. So, kinda sticking with the SoCal team - go Ducks.

Used to catch about ten games a year at the Great Western Forum. Don't even know the name of the building anymore. :unsure:
