DVD Audio through stereo

Has anyone hooked a portable DVD player into their factory stereo? I have the single cd/mp3 cd player that came from the factory and it has a Aux button on the face but no where to hook an aux component into it in the back. Is there a adapter or am I missing something? I bought a portable DVD player for my son to watch on long rides and I want to play the audio through the stereo speakers if possible. Thanks.

My port DVD player came with a car power adapter that had a FM radio output (little wire). We use it in my wife's Mountaineer and it works pretty good. Could maybe do a search for something like that. All you do is tune the radio to one of about 6 sations and listen to it through your speakers.
