hello everyone, i have not been on much due to moving houses and this and that. but i am finally back on and just wanna ask around bout the e brake light. within the past two days i have noticed my e brake light come on on my gauge cluster. it would then go off. and today it came on and and stayed on for awhile and then went off etc. is it simply the brake light switch sensor or a warning to something else. please inform me of this situiation. thank you.

b.t.w. i am selling the tonneau cover brackets (stryker) with hardware if anyone is interested.

i also have the engine tool tray piece that lays on top of the grill around.

That light also indicates low fluid level in the master cylinder.

There is recent interest here for the brackets................

According to the owner's manual, it could be an indication that the fluid in the master cylinder is low. Check that first.

Also do a search, there has been a very recent thread about this very subject.

haha my buddy calls me that. he calls himself self playaward so i kinda found playatro catchy haha. and honestly. ill give it to you for free if you take care of shipping

Ok, thanks. Find out what the shipping to 3701 Oakdale Street, Pitsburgh, Pa.,15212. Thanks again man. Hey how's your mom liking the Sport Trac ? Did you find everything you needed for it? :haveabeer:

i will do. maybe this weekend on my days off. weather permitting, we are hearing there is a high chance we might be getting a severe storm that will freeze over. and thank you for asking but we sold it. we moved houses and couldnt afford it so were looking for something in the 8 thousand range. about half of what the sport trac cost. and i ran into a few probelms with mine. i ran over somthing and blew out my two left tires and the rims bent so i had to buy new rims. new tires and now i have experienced a oil cover gasket leaks on both sides and rear main seal leak and a pinion leak.

Man that sucks. Couple members on here are selling there ST for around $4-6k. Hope everything works out for you guys. It's been bitter cold and snowy up here. Just had to replace all four shocks, rear tires and now another set of sway bar endlinks. It's supposed to get upto 38 degrees on Saturday so I'll replace the endlinks then. Didn't sell my show truck so I'm still not back to work, I work on cars at my house but no garage makes that harder to do now this time of year. Gotta replace every seal on the front differential come spring, hopefully they hold out that long, they've been leaking for awhile now and I check the lube to make sure it's not low. Did you get the roadhazzard warranty with the tires that were destroyed?

im hearing we will have a bad winter this year. not just us here in TN. im still waiting on the good offers on shocks from sears. considering the ranchos rs5000 or one of the monroes. im sorry to hear your still out of work. i too have been driving with my leaks for awhile. but i am taking care of my gasket seal leaks this weekend because i find it more serious than the others. this new house we moved into does have a garage so yes with this cold weather it will be easir for me to clean my truck etc.

btw i am goin today to find out how much on the shipping cost fro the tool tray. i will let you know tonigth or tomorrow.

Sounds good, thanks man. I just replaced the Sway bar endlinks today with Moogs. Beautiful out today, sunny and 38 degrees. Tomorrow is another story, back down to the teens and snow again yea, atleast I got one day to fix my truck that's all I really needed.

i too wanna get around to replacing my endlinks with moogs as well as my ball joints.

and jerry i cleaned up tool tray today and just wanna let you know that its in fair condition. there was mud on it and got most of it off but you can see the brown on it a bit. and i noticed one small crack on it which doesnt effect mouting. its nothing new or anything but will do its job to cover up that empy space. ground shipping will cost about 10 dollars.

i also found one of the tabs on the side flap that lift up to access the headlight assembly broken off. if im not mistaken those serve as a purpose to lock into something to hold the flap down. let me know if your still interested
