First, let me say that I am admitting my fault on this. I am simply posting this incase someone else encounters the same problem and will not freak out.
As some of you may remember, my emergency brake light had been coming on intermittently when I first started my ST up and started driving. It would not stay on, but only go on and off for the first few miles of my drive. I took some advice from members of the site and checked my brake fluid (level was okay), checked the switch/sensor (it looked okay), so saving the most obvious for last, I checked my brake pads over the weekend. I was planning on getting them done regardless at my next service in November. Regardless, I pulled the tires off and then pulled the pads. Turns out they were all pretty worn (not far from what I expected), but two of them were almost paper thin....not good. So, I shelved the ST for the weekend and changed the brake pads yesterday. So far, so good. No e-brake light this morning.
Think the problem is fixed....
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and help.
