E-Readers????

Rose wants a Kindle, but which one of the Kindles should I look at? They go from 138$ up to 400$,,, not! The base exchange sells Sony for about the same price. Any comments or suggestion/experience with these things? Thanks

I was going to get one for my wife last year. I found out that if Amazon loses its license to a book you purchased from them, they will delete it and you are outta luck. I bought her a netbook instead. If you search Microsoft.com, they have a free application you can download that will let you read book downloads.

If Rose is a true reader she will love the Kindle. I picked one up for my wife a couple of months ago and she loves it. Bought the one for $189 becasue it includes free 3G. There are many free books for it and you also can convert pdf files to Kindle format to be read on the device. Another great option is the $60 case with built in light. There are mixed reviews for it but again my wife loves it.



I'm sure Rose is going to be very happy!

Thanks George, didn't get the 3G because Rose has a MiFi card, so we have wi-fi connectivity almost anytime. I hope she will be happy. She loves to read. I have books from Hell! around the house.
