Funny, I saw all of these in a kids book 40 years ago. Classics!

A couple of those have another solution:
To make a perfect square out of the four matches by only moving one match, take the one on the right, rotate it 90 degrees, and move it up and to the left, so its bottom is touching the left end of the match on the left. The matches now form the shape of the number 4--and 4 is a perfect square.
To make the 9.50 = 101010 equation true by adding a line, just put it through the equals sign, making it an inequality sign. In fact, the solution they give isn't valid in the US, as we use colons instead of periods to separate hours and minutes in time.
