Ebay Roof Crossbars

Picked some crossbars up from ebay, couldnt beat 44plus shipping

couple of their pics:

I got one of them on the truck already, but i have to modify it some. There is an adjuster bolt that hangs down towards the roof, but once you tighten it all down, it actually touchs the roof. So i plan to grind them all down so they dont touch.



Also, the bars hang out maybe 1/4 an inch from the mounts, but its still within the width of the vehicle.





Ill get some real pics up soon (working on moving to a new palce) and have an addon coming next week, and we'll see how it all adds up

oh, wanted to add, that when the box arrived, i noticed it said rack for Jeep Liberty, so maybe the roof racks are similar

Hmmm, I have the same ones, and they are for the Explorer / Sport Trac. Nothing touches the roof on mine. I did have to modify the plastic covers though so that they would lock in place.

Shush... don't tell the wife. She thinks we need them to spend more time in STL when we go.... that way she can take more clothes....
