I have a friend who has one of these hooked to his big screen TV, and I thought it was pretty cool. Any thoughts, or does anyone have one? I know they make different models. He has the plain jane model, and it seemed to surf the net pretty well.

I've had a HTPC for years. I put it together in this case so it would fit nicely and look like it belonged with my other home theater gear.

It's my music source (slacker mainly), dvd player (still need a blue ray upgrade), and now my tv via torrents (shhh)



We dropped cable tv and just use the HTPC. Between streaming shows from network websites, netflix, and torrents I can watch pretty much whatever I want.
